Arrival and Dismissl

Arrival and Dismissl

We're excited to show off our new parking lot and provide a smooth drop-off and pick-up experience for you and your child(ren). We will follow the same process as last year. I appreciate how your collaborative and community-centered approach assisted our staff in facilitating a safe and efficient process and look forward to partnering with you again this school year. In addition, the new parking lot markings should make traffic flow easier to follow. Please be patient during the first weeks of school while our entire learning community becomes familiar with our procedures.

Key Points for Arrival:

  • Please pull forward as far as you can while in the drop-off lane before having your child(ren) exit your vehicle
  • It is important to use our controlled crosswalk by the main entry when crossing the drop-off and drive-through lanes.
  • Please wait for the crossing guards or school personnel to signal that it is safe to cross
  • Students should exit vehicles from the curbside door as safely and quickly as possible to avoid traffic congestion.
  • Students will need to be masked on all school transportation, when they enter the building, and during congested outdoor periods (arrival and dismissal)

Key Points for Dismissal:

  • Kindergarten pick-up will occur at the end of the sidewalk toward door 15 (our kindergarten and pre-K entrance) at 3:00 PM
  • First-grade will be dismissing at 3:00 PM for the first three weeks of school as they become familiar with our procedures
  • Parents should pull all the way forward in the pick-up lane or park in the parking lot while waiting for their child(ren)
  • Please wait for the crossing guards or school personnel to signal that it is safe to cross
  • Students will need to be masked on all school transportation, when they enter the building, and during congested outdoor periods (arrival and dismissal)

Thank you for your positive partnership and the opportunity to work with your wonderful children!
