About Us

Woodbury Elementary School serves students in PreK through fifth grades and is part of South Washington County Schools. Every decision at Woodbury Elementary School is student-centered. Teachers and staff members are dedicated to helping every student grow academically, socially and emotionally.

Teachers at Woodbury Elementary School personalize learning for students by building relationships. Each student meets with their teacher before the start of the school year and teachers continue to work one-on-one with students throughout the year.

Woodbury Elementary School is certified by Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) to teach strategies that help students develop organization and study skills which help improve their success at school.

Students at Woodbury Elementary School have many opportunities to take part in fine arts through participation in art, band, choir and orchestra. There are also a variety of clubs and activities for students to join.

Woodbury Elementary School welcomes community involvement and hosts several community events during the year. The school also has an active and welcoming Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).

Take the Valley Creek exit off 494 and proceed west. Turn north on Weir Drive. Turn west on Upper Afton Road. Turn south on School Drive.
